Sara Bobillo Perez

Sara Bobillo has a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Santiago de Compostela in 2011.

Between 2012 and 2016 she completed the specialty of Pediatrics at the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital in Barcelona. During the residency she was involved in various research projects. In 2015, after her rotation in Pediatric Intensive Care, she joined the research team of the unit. From there she participated in several projects. The first was a study published in 2016. She participates as a collaborating researcher in two clinical trials. She has presented 30 papers at national and international conferences and has participated as a speaker in continuing training courses.

In October 2017, she began his doctorate focused on the analysis of biomarkers in critically ill patients and in January 2018, she joined the predoctoral contract for Training in Health Research (PFIS) of the Carlos III University.

Currently she combines the research with a pediatric intensivist contract in the same unit where she works as a clinical researcher. Her training as a pediatric intensivist has been endorsed by the Spanish Society of Pediatric Intensive Care.
