Joana Claverol Torres

Joana Claverol graduated in Biology in 1999 from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Later, she completed a Master in Clinical Trials Monitoring at the University of Barcelona, a Master in Pharmaceutical Marketing at the Pompeu Fabra University and a Postgraduate in Management of Health Institutions at the IESE Business School.

Since 2012 she is the Head of the Clinical Research Unit of the Institut de Recerca Sant Joan de Déu.

Previously, she has worked in various pharmaceutical companies assuming different positions related to the medical department and in particular the development of new medications.

Since 2015, she has been a trainer in various academic programs and subjects related to the world of clinical trials and paediatric medical devices.
