Lara Cantarero Abad
The Landscape of Axonal Biology and Membranes Associated with Mitochondria in Neurogenetic Diseases
Researcher Lara Cantarero graduated in Biology in 2010 from the University of Barcelona and obtained her PhD degree from the University of Salamanca in 2015.
Since 2016 she has been a postdoctoral researcher, and since 2018 she is a postdoctoral researcher CIBERER, in the laboratory of Neurogenetics and Molecular Medicine. Her research is part of the project "The Landscape of Axonal Biology and Membranes Associated with Mitochondria in Neurogenetic Diseases", where she focuses her studies on the mitochondrial GDAP1 protein and her involvement at the cellular level in the pathology of Charcot- Marie-Tooth.
