The researcher Guerau Fernández earned a Ph.D. in Genetics and Cell Biology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2005. He obtained the master's degree in Bioinformatics and Bioestadistics from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya in 2014.
Since 2016 he has been a collaborating professor in the Master in Bioinformatics and Bio-Statistics.
