Anna Alonso Saladrigues
Anna Alonso Saladrigues is a pediatric hematologist. She did the residency of Pediatrics and the Master's Degree in Pediatric Hematology at the SJD Barcelona Children’s Hospital. She is currently working as an assistant doctor at the Pediatric Hematology Oncology Department of the SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital, mainly in the Day Hospital of Oncological and Non-Oncological Hematology and the hospitalization area.
For the past two years, as part of the assistance task she has been developing as a member of the Clinical Research Unit of the Sant Joan de Déu Foundation (FSJD), she has collaborated in the care of patients included in various clinical trials with T-CAR-19 lymphocytes.
She also collaborates in the training of pediatric residents, masters in pediatric hematology and oncology fellows.
In terms of collaboration on therapeutic advances, she is the principal investigator in the SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital of a clinical trial and participates as a sub-investigator in several clinical trials in the field of pediatric hematology (oncological and non-oncological) and advanced therapies.
She has complemented her education in the field of applied statistics in Health Sciences by pursuing the Postgraduate Master in "Research Methodology: Design and Statistics in Health Sciences" by the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
This has enabled her to perform the task of data manager for acute leukemia and other hematopoiesis of the Hematology Service of the SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital. Since 2016, she has performed the annual statistical analysis of the "therapeutic recommendations for the treatment of acute leukemia of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology" under the supervision of its coordinators.
She has also collaborated in the computerization of protocols for the treatment of acute leukemia and in the organization of care circuits in the day hospital area of the SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital.
She is also participating in the evaluation of new computer programs for implementation in the healthcare clinic.
She is a full member of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology (SEHOP).
