Researcher Alba Redin Alonso graduated in Biochemistry in 2014 from the University of Navarra and received her Master's Degree in Medical Microbiology in 2015 from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in London. The researcher is currently pursuing her doctorate 'Serotype and clonal distribution of streptococcus pneumoniae in Catalonia (Spain) before and after introduction of PCV13 vaccine in children' in the Department of Molecular Microbiology at SJD Barcelona Children’s Hospital.

Since 2018 she is a Biomedical Scientist registered with the Health and Care Professional Council in the United Kingdom and worked from 2016 until the end of 2019 at the “Public Health England” institution in London, United Kingdom.
