Daniel Muñoz Samons graduated in Medicine in 1997 from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. In 2008 he spent a 6-month stay (Alicia Koplowitz Foundation short stay fellowships) at Columbia University in New York, training in functional neuroimaging analysis techniques.
Since 2004 he has been providing clinical assistance to the Psychiatry and Child Psychology Service of the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital. He is currently the Senior Assistant Psychiatrist at the Hospitalization Unit and clinical coordinator at the Psychotic Disorders Unit in childhood and adolescence.
For the last 15 years he has focused his studies on early onset psychosis and the child and adolescent population at risk of psychosis, collaborating on several funded projects.
