Skeletal dysplasia. Development of new techniques in orthopedic surgery.
Mª Pilar Rovira graduated in Medicine from the Rovira i Virgili University of Tarragona (1999-2005). She is currently PhD Student in Medicine and Translational Research at the University of Barcelona.
In 2010, she completed a two-month stay at the Children's Orthopedic and Plastic Surgery service at the Hôpital des Enfants Center Hospitalier Universitaire de Toulouse. And in 2013 she obtained the Postgraduate course Manipulation of Experimental Animals.
She is a member of the ERN-bone (European Research Network on bone dysplasias) and a member of the Skeletal Dysplasias Unit at SJD Barcelona Children’s Hospital.
