Researcher Verónica Gimeno Alcalá obtained her degree in Nursing in 2014 from the CEU Cardenal Herrera University, 2017 she received the title of Pediatric Nursing Specialist, and in 2021 she obtained a Master's degree in Pediatric Palliative Care from the International University de la Rioja.
Since 2019, she has been a Palliative Care and Complex Chronic Patient Service member at the SJD Barcelona Children’s Hospital.
