Iago Giné Vázquez

Researcher Iago Giné Vázquez graduated in Mathematics in 2009 from the University of Barcelona, completed his Master's Degree in Advanced and Professional Mathematics between 2009 and 2010 and obtained his Doctor of Mathematics degree from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2017.

During his doctoral years, he taught in the Degrees in Mathematics and Computer Engineering at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
In 2017, he joined the Epidemiology group for mental disorders and ageing in the Sant Joan de Déu Health Park as a research assistant.

Since then, he has collaborated in the harmonization of 18 international databases and the development of a healthy ageing measurement scale by the ATHLOS project led by Dr Josep Maria Haro. He is also currently participating in the development and study of a fragility index with data from the Global Burden of Disease and ATHLOS for the Miguel Servet and FIS projects of Dr S. Tyrovolas.

He has also contributed as a teacher of R and RStudio softwares to the IX Workshop of the CIBERSAM Instrument Bank and to the Introduction to R course of the Sant Joan de Déu Foundation.
