Objectiu de la convocatòria

This call for joint transnational research proposals, cofunded by the European Union, aims to support multinational, collaborative research projects that address important research questions regarding the ways in which the health and wellbeing of older people, at all stages of later life, is supported and promoted through the design of the social and physical environment, access to opportunities to learn, and the use of technologies of all kinds. The objective is seeking for innovative, transnational and interdisciplinary collaborative projects that investigate the potential of technology, place and learning in relation with the older population.

Característiques principals

 

Under the topic of Ageing and place in a digitising world, proposals shall address the topic of Technology (1). Applications may also address topics of Place (2) and Learning (3), in relation with Technology (1). That is: applications may address Topic 1, Topic 1 and 2, Topic 1 and 3, or Topic 1, 2 and 3 together. Applications not addressing Technology will be discarded.

1. Technology: How existing and emerging technologies can improve the quality of life, engagement and social integration of older people.

2. Place: How individuals experience the places where they live, work and interact with others, and how learning and technology enhance or diminish their quality of life.

3. Learning: How opportunities for learning can best be made available and accessible for older people, through public, private and third sector means. The addressed research topic(s) should be indicated in the online submission system.

Which nine countries are participating in the JPI MYBL Joint Transnational Call 2017?

Austria, Belgium, Canada, Finland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden and the Netherlands.

Requisits


Only transnational projects will be funded.

  • Each proposal must involve a minimum of three eligible applicants from at least three different countries participating in the call.
  • The maximum number of eligible participants in a project consortium is seven.
  • The consortium should be reasonably balanced, not more than two eligible applicants per country/funding organization are allowed.
  • Additional participants (named collaborators) may participate in projects if they clearly demonstrate an added value to the consortium and are able to secure their own funding.

  • The individual eligibility, together with details of eligible costs (personnel, material, consumables, equipment, travel money, etc.), are subject to the individual administrative requirements of individual funding organisations and may therefore vary. Details of the national/regional eligibility criteria from individual funding agencies are provided in the Guidelines for Applicants.
