According to the pre-announcement, projects are expected to:
- Develop and/or validate diagnostic and theranostic tools based on robust scientific evidence.
- Improve prevention, early disease detection, disease monitoring, treatment guidance, and risk/benefit assessment across the care continuum.
- Demonstrate added value versus existing diagnostic approaches through validated performance benchmarks.
- Address translational and adoption aspects such as scalability, manufacturability, standardisation, affordability, accessibility, cost-effectiveness, regulatory readiness, interoperability, and healthcare system integration.
- Have a project duration of 36 months.
Objective: To advance nano-enabled diagnostic and theranostic solutions that improve the detection and clinical management of non-communicable diseases.
