The IHS Junior Research Grant 2025 aims to support innovative and impactful research from young investigators, promote the career of young researchers in the field of headache disorders, and increase the knowledge base of headache research. Applications for basic or clinical headache research, or a combination of both, will be considered.

Projects must be completed within 2 years, and the value of the grant is GBP 10,000.

Objectives of the call:

• To support innovative research in headache disorders.

• To promote the careers of young researchers in this field.

• To enhance the knowledge of headache disorders through basic and clinical research.

1. The applicant must be a junior member of IHS
2. The applicant must be the Primary Investigator of the proposed project - it is permitted to have two joint Primary Investigators
3. Research projects must be completed within 2 years (see Grant conditions below)
4. Applications must include:
   1. Biosketch / abbreviated CV (5-page maximum) for the applicant
   2. Copy of most recent qualification certificate
   3. Description of the research project, not exceeding 10 pages
   4. Motivation letter
   5. Detailed budget
   6. Letter of approval from the institution(s) where the project will be conducted
   7. Copy of passport
