Interreg Sudoe is an EU European Territorial Cooperation (Interreg) programme, funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), supporting transnational projects in South-West Europe.
This 4th call funds structuring projects (high-impact projects meant to be integrated into public policies and scalable beyond the project duration). For the Ageing theme (Specific Objective 4.5, Priority 3), projects should propose concrete, validated solutions that can be implemented on the ground and cover a significant part of the Sudoe territory.
Objective: improve equal access to healthcare and strengthen health system resilience (especially primary care), while supporting the shift from institutional care towards community/family-based care.

Deadline

  • eSudoe opens to fill in the application form: 8 June 2026
  • Submission deadline (lead beneficiary language): 30 September 2026, 14:00 (mainland Spain time)
  • Translated versions (other 2 languages): one week after the main submission
  • Optional promoter-authority interviews: 22 June - 3 July 2026
Requisitos

(Only the Ageing theme is considered in this announcement.)

  • The partnership must bring together key stakeholders able to design/implement public policies; it must be coherent with the project's objectives and based on the effective contribution of each partner.
  • For Ageing, the consortium must include (compulsory):
    • National bodies (health, social policies, etc.) → at least one from one of the 3 Sudoe Member States (for the whole partnership)
    • Regional/local authorities → at least one for each of the 3 Sudoe Member States
    • Operational bodies (e.g., social services, medical/social care facilities) → at least one for each of the 3 Sudoe Member States
  • Optional partners may include institutes/technical/scientific bodies, universities and research centres.
  • Activities/partners should fall within the eligible Sudoe territory (regions in Spain, France, Portugal, plus Andorra as a third country).
  • Project duration / number of phases: not specified on the call web summary page (please check the official call text).
