The European Partnership for Brain Health (EP BrainHealth), a collaborative initiative co-funded under Horizon Europe, aims to advance scientific knowledge on biological, social and environmental factors that influence brain health throughout the life-course. This Joint Transnational Call (JTC2026 Call 2) focuses on research addressing how these factors impact the trajectory of neurodegenerative disorders across the lifespan. The call invites multinational, interdisciplinary and translational research consortia to investigate mechanisms, early recognition/diagnosis/prognosis, prevention, treatments, interventions, care and support linked to these factors and their impact on neurodegenerative disease outcomes. Proposals should address at least two factor categories (biological, lifestyle/social, environmental) and at least two research aspects among mechanisms, diagnostics/prognostics and interventions linked to relevant factors, with clear potential benefit for patients and carers. Applications must be interdisciplinary and translational, integrating holistic and in-depth biological insights to address critical questions in neurodegeneration research.
