Objective:
The NRS Research Grants Program aims to support scientific investigations that can improve the management, prevention, or potential cure of rosacea. Priority is given to studies focused on the pathogenesis, progression, cellular biology, mechanisms of action, and genetic factors involved in rosacea. Projects in epidemiology, quality of life, environmental or lifestyle associations, and predisposition are also considered.

Background:
Since its launch in 1999, the NRS has awarded over $1.7 million to fund 78 studies exploring various aspects of rosacea, such as the immune system, nervous system, facial blood vessels, microbes, Demodex mites, and genetic components.

2025 Call for Proposals - Key Details:

  • Deadline: July 1, 2025

  • Funding amount: Up to $25,000 per grant (larger amounts considered for exceptional proposals)

  • Eligibility: Open to researchers worldwide
