America Jennifer Vera Montecinos
América Vera graduated in Biology in 2011 at University of Concepción de Chile and got her Master degree in Biochemistry and Bioinformatics at the University of Concepción de Chile in 2013. Since 2015, she is studying PhD in Biomedicine at University of Barcelona linked to the "Bechas Chile" program.
During 2011-2014 she made a stay in University of Concepción de Chile in which she studied the molecular mechanisms implicated in neurological development.
She is working on the field of molecular psychiatry since 2015, studying changes in the proteomics in schizophrenia in postmortem brains.
