Rosa Giménez Claudio
The researcher Rosa Giménez graduated in Pharmacy in 1981 by the University of Barcelona and obtained the PhD in Pharmacy from the same University in 1988.
In 1991, she undertook a postdoctoral study at the Department of Pharmacology and Experimental Pathology at the "Research and Development Center" of Barcelona, from the Higher Council for Scientific Research, where she collaborated in the search for the molecular mechanisms involved in the resistance to multiple drugs.
Since 2004, she has been an assistant professor at the University of Barcelona.
She is currently a senior researcher in the intestinal microbiota research group where she studies the bacterial factors involved in the modulation of the intestinal epithelial barrier. She has a relevant role in supporting research in the group and in the training of new researchers that are incorporated.
