Anna Monistrol Mula
Anna Monistrol Mula is a researcher with a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Barcelona (2017) and a master in Advanced Genetics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2018). During her studies she collaborated as a researcher with the department of Genetics, Statistics and Microbiology of the University of Barcelona, in the research of genetic variants related with bone mineral density, and with the department of Molecular Genetics in Hospital Clínic, studying factors associated with the incomplete penetrance in Familiar Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension disease.
Between 2019 and 2020 she worked in Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu as a CIBER researcher carrying out systematic reviews and epidemiologic studies in the field of breast cancer, in collaboration with Eli Lilly and Co.
Currently, she is doing her PhD in Medicine and Translational Research in Dr. Haro's group, studying the bidirectional associations between COVID-19 and mental disorders.
