Cédric Labay has a Master's Degree in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology since 2006 by the University of Barcelona. He obtained his PhD in 2014 at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.
Since 2018 he has been an associate professor at Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona), imparting the subject of biomaterials of the degree in biomedical engineering.
PostDoc was a research group in Biomimetics, Biocarriers and Bioimplants at the Department of Micro and Nanotechnology (DTU Nanotech) of the Technical University of Denmark (DTU, Denmark) for 18 months, where he carried out colloidal systems research , polymer capsules, capsosomes for combinatorial therapy and microreactors for the conduction of enzymatic / biological reactions.
Since 2017 he is a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the project "Atmospheric Pressure plasma meets biomaterials for bone Cancer HEaling - APACHE, led by Dr. Cristina Canal Barnils, in the research line of Plasms for Biomedical Applications of the Biomaterials, Biomechanics and Engineering group of Fabrics (BBT).
