Paediatric Innovation Hub · i4Kids

The main aim of the Paediatric Innovation Hub · i4Kids (Hub en Innovació Pediàtrica)  is to promote knowledge valorisation and transfer in order to offer solutions designed, developed and tested with and for children and with the involvement of R+D+I centres, hospitals, universities, companies, patients and families, investors and regulatory authorities.

The aim is to move towards a new collaborative paediatric ecosystem in which children are the main focus of the innovation strategy, engaging them in the identification of needs and in the support and evaluation of the whole transfer process. Serving as a catalyst to promote the valorisation and transfer that successfully cover the real needs of paediatric patients, with a vision of being able to participate in a world where children and young people have access to quality medicines and medical devices designed for them and for their needs.

The Paediatric Innovation Hub will represent the Paediatric Innovation sector in Catalonia, and we hope to do so shortly in the European and international environment.

The i4Kids is made up of 76 groups from different institutions throughout Catalonia. It also has affiliated entities made up of stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem in Catalonia, such as companies, investment funds, systems agents and patient associations and representatives
